Activdox is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately.

We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking. Users may disable cookies in their browser settings.

Data Processing Agreement (DPA) 

This DPA forms part of the agreement between Activdox (“Processor”) and the customer (“Controller”).

1. Subject Matter

Processing of ADFs, annotations, and user data for cloud storage and synchronization.

2. Duration

For the duration of the customer’s use of Activdox services.

3. Nature and Purpose

Storage, synchronization, and delivery of digital documents.

4. Types of Data

• Email
• ADF files
• Annotations
• Device metadata

5. Obligations of Processor

• Process data only on documented instructions
• Implement appropriate security measures
• Assist with data subject requests
• Notify Controller of data breaches
• Delete or return data upon termination

6. Sub‑processors

IONOS, CLOUDFLARE and other infrastructure providers.

Data Deletion Policy  

Users may delete their Activdox Reader account at any time through:

• In app “Delete My Account” button found on the help dialog boxes
• Request to support@activdox.com

      Deletion includes:

• Account credentials
• Cloud stored ADFs
• Annotations
• Sync metadata

Optional: 30-day grace period before permanent deletion.
